Sallent Adventure
My name is Daniel Galiano, and with over 25 years exploring the wonders of the mountains, climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, and caving, my journey has been a constant learning experience. Humility has been my compass, guiding me through challenges that have taught me more than I have achieved.
In every experience, a passion for adventure has been my constant companion, revealing an unexpected vocation: guiding. The decision to create Sallent is the culmination of this journey, fueled by a burning desire to share not only technical knowledge, but also the fundamental values that the mountains have instilled in me.
Education and Professional Experience
I received my professional training as a canyoning sports technician at the Mountain Sports Center Institute in La Pobla de Segur in Pallars, through the ECAM Catalan High Mountain School.
- I am a member of the AEGM (Spanish Association of Mountain Guides) No. 1925
- I am registered in the ROPEC, the official register of Catalan sports professionals, No. 041855
- I also hold several first aid qualifications and have training in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
- I previously trained as a rope access technician and for difficult access work with IRATA, the International Rope Access Association. My training was very demanding, focusing on safety and rescue.

Preservation Actions
Collective collections
On each outing we encourage our groups to participate in garbage collection activities as an act of solidarity towards the environment that hosts us.
Cleaning and disinfection
All our equipment is cleaned and disinfected using biodegradable products, thus minimizing environmental impact.
Low-emission vehicle
We travel in a vehicle with an AD Blue system, which considerably reduces emissions of polluting gases.
Share spaces
We encourage our customers to share vehicles when traveling to our activities, promoting a more efficient use of resources and reducing the carbon footprint.
Access control
We keep roads and access routes clean as part of our fight against fires and environmental degradation.
